For over fifty years, St. Luke United Methodist Church, located in southwest San Angelo, has been engaged in vital ministry to the community. The mission of St. Luke is to celebrate and share with others the good news of Jesus Christ. St. Luke is a welcoming congregation, embracing a diverse membership. St. Luke offers something for everybody. There are two distinct worship services on Sunday morning and a wide variety of Sunday School classes to choose from. There also opportunities throughout the week for spiritual growth and fun for people of all ages. We invite you to come and experience this unique fellowship of the body of Christ. ST. LUKE UMC FALL KICKOFF EVENT Sunday, September 12th at 10 a.m. on the Portico There will be table set up with info about Sunday School classes and some St. Luke programs, and registration available for TGIW. REBUILDING TOGETHER For years St. Luke has made Rebuilding Together a local mission priority and we wish to continue this commitment. St. Luke's workday this year will be on Saturday, October 9th. T.G.I.W. Yes, it's Wednesday, so let's be thankful! This semester will involve a study on "Three Simple Rules of John Wesley". There will be a bible study, family meals, games and fun activities. TGIW begins Wednesday night from September 15th--November 3rd. Cost is $25 for the entire eight weeks. Our first week's theme is Sports Night, so wear your favorites team jersey or cheer outfit and come! |
